Dunstone Bros Plumbing & Roofing is a well-established local plumbing and roofing business servicing Bendigo and surrounding areas.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship, honest advice, and outstanding customer service across residential and light-commercial plumbing and roofing projects.
We’re currently taking expressions of interest for a first-year apprentice plumber to join our team for a 2027 start. Apply early to be ready for TAFE and on-the-job working.
About This Role
7:30AM – 4:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays, you’ll be jumping into your work vehicle provided by Dunstone Bros (for Learner Driver Permits, you'll be paired up), clocking-in using ServiceM8 on your smart phone, learning to organize materials and interact with suppliers, traveling to job sites, and learning problem-solving skills whilst interacting with customers. This role suits someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, and is willing to work towards becoming a Qualified Plumber (4 year apprenticeship combined with TAFE sessions).
You’ll be earning
increasing rates based on age, apprentice year level, and completion of year 12. You'll be accruing annual leave, rostered days off (RDO’s) and other leave types. Dunstone Bros is not open on Weekends or Public Holidays, and you’ll have two weeks Christmas-holiday break each year.
As an apprentice plumber, you’ll be supervised and learning to carrying out a broad range of plumbing work, such as:
• General Maintenance plumbing, installations, repairs and fault-finding.
• Roofing and guttering works.
• Hot Water system installation and repairs
• Drainage solutions and blocked drains
• Type-A Appliance Gas Services / Gas fitting
• Communicating with customers in a friendly, reliable, and professional manner.
• Completing jobs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
